Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sentinel website, services, or software (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our Services.

Description of Services

Sentinel provides game security tools including but not limited to:

  • Binary analysis software (Cortex)
  • Runtime protection SDK
  • Roblox security tools (Watchtower)
  • VM deobfuscation services

User Accounts

To access certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Develop or distribute malware, cheats, or exploits
  • Reverse engineer our software except as permitted by law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Access accounts or data belonging to others

Intellectual Property

The Services and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Sentinel and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:

  • Modify, copy, or distribute the Services
  • Sell, sublicense, or transfer the Services
  • Remove any proprietary notices

SDK License

If you integrate the Sentinel SDK into your game, you are granted a license to use the SDK subject to the terms of your subscription agreement. Additional terms may apply based on your subscription tier.

Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS

We do not guarantee that the Services will detect all cheats, exploits, or security threats.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTINEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Reputational damage

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sentinel and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Services will cease immediately
  • You must cease all use of the SDK
  • We may delete your account and data

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
